STORIES OF TRANSFORMATION
BEYOND THE COLD
A CLEAR RESET
Three minutes doesn't sound like much, until you feel what it does.
Cold immersion sends a signal through your entire nervous system, and the effects don't stop when you step out.
INSTANT MENTAL CLARITY
That first minute is uncomfortable, that's the point. What follows is a rush of endorphins and a level of alertness that no coffee replicates.
People don't come back for the cold itself; they come back for the twenty minutes after, when the mind goes quiet and sharp at the same time.
It's the closest thing to a reset button most of us get in a normal week.
FASTER MUSCLE RECOVERY
Cold water triggers vasoconstriction, your blood vessels tighten, flushing out the by-products of hard training and easing inflammation.
Whether you trained yesterday or you're on your feet all day for work, this is the difference between waking up stiff and waking up ready to go again.
CIRCULATION & RESILIENCE
Every plunge is a small, controlled stress your body learns to handle better over time, vessels constrict, then rush back open the moment you're out.
That's a genuine cardiovascular training effect, and it's also why regular plungers describe feeling steadier under everyday stress, not just fitter.
METABOLIC & IMMUNE BOOST
Regular cold exposure activates brown fat, the kind of fat your body burns for warmth, not the kind it stores.
Alongside that, consistent plungers report fewer sick days and more stable energy through the week.
It's a small habit with effects that compound.
STEP IN WITH CONFIDENCE
First time doing an ice bath? Here's everything you need to know so you can walk in and actually enjoy it.
What should I wear? Swimwear, that's it. We provide towels for FLOW sessions, or bring your own.
How should I prepare? Hydrate beforehand and eat a light meal, going in on an empty stomach or dehydrated is the main reason people feel lightheaded. Breathe slow and steady once you're in; the goal isn't to tense up and survive it, it's to relax into it.
How long should I stay in? Sixty to ninety seconds is genuinely enough, especially your first time. This isn't an endurance contest, the benefit comes from the exposure, not from how long you can white-knuckle it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our ice bath sits in the 10–15°C range. You don't need long, 60 to 90 seconds is enough to get the benefit, and most first-timers start there before building up.
-
Yes, for most healthy adults, you ease in, you control your own breathing, and you're never in there alone. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, over 55, or managing a cardiovascular or blood pressure condition, check with your doctor first, the temperature change puts real demand on your circulatory system.
-
Cold exposure has a genuine, well-documented effect on circulation, inflammation and mood via endorphin release. What it isn't is a cure-all, we won't tell you it fixes everything, just that most people leave feeling noticeably clearer and looser than when they walked in.
-
Our Intro Offer, 5 sessions for $90, is built exactly for this. It pairs FLOW sessions (sauna, hot plunge and ice bath together) with a Private Infrared Sauna session, so you can find your own rhythm with the cold rather than judging it off one dip.

Ice bath sessions run at the Wellness Space, 5 Ward Street. The 10-session pack is valid for 1 year from purchase, so there's no pressure to use it all at once.
